The original study presupposed displaying the results of each respondent while highlighting common trends. We reworked the results and combined them into a single image in order to clearly show the trends and key problems shared by all the respondents.
The original study presupposed displaying the results of each respondent while highlighting common trends. We reworked the results and combined them into a single image in order to clearly show the trends and key problems shared by all the respondents. The visual solutions were based on the client’s signature style, but they also went beyond those boundaries with the client’s permission. We chose calm shades and drew stroke illustrations of each respondent.
The remaining graphics consisted of lines and emojis. The use of emojis as one of the key visual elements was determined by the need to clearly communicate to the specialists the emotions that a person feels during each step of the integration process — in other words, to humanize immigrants in the eyes of federal and municipal agencies.
We were able to complete the project on a tight schedule thanks to our close collaboration with the client. While we reworked and formatted the information, the client reviewed the data and corrected the study’s content and conclusions in light of the format and structure of the final visual solution.
The entire storylanding was put together in Readymag, which makes it easier to edit content. More importantly, it allowed us to create scroll animation, a technique that made the storytelling much more pleasant.
Readymag also allows the client to edit texts and numbers themselves. This is important, as it allows the project to remain relevant indefinitely.
